Clocker seems to continually run at 26-30% CPU on Macbook Pro

    Hi there,

I just bought a brand new macbook pro, and did a backup migration from my iMac. I notice the fan is going like crazy most of the time, for several days now, which did not happen on my old Late 2013 Model Macbook Pro, so I did some digging. Activity Monitor is showing that Clocker is constantly using 26-30% of my CPU. Not just occasionally, ALL the time.

I can say say that right now the fan has finally calmed down and I cant hear it as such anymore, but the Activity Monitor still shows the CPU very high. Right now it has dropped briefly to 25.9% but ah back up to between 26-28% as we speak. The fan noises seem to be worse when its around 30%.

Spec: OS X Version: El Capitan 10.11.6 Model Name: MacBook Pro 15-inch Mid 2015 Model Identifier: MacBookPro11,5 Processor Name: Intel Core i7 Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 4 L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB L3 Cache: 6 MB Memory: 16 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3

When clicking on Clocker icon, icon disappears and seems to have crashed

I just removed the unsigned versions now that the app store has been updated, and installed the official one from the App Store.

When I run the app, it appears in the taskbar, but as soon as I click on the icon, it disappears leading me to believe it has crashed as I then open the app again and it re-appears, but crashes again on click of the icon.

This happens both when I have my 2 external monitors plugged in as well as when I unplug the external monitors and just use my Macbook Pro screen.

    Seconds cannot be hidden

Just updated to version 1.6.10 (65) and then the seconds were showing for my clocks -- they weren't before. I went to the Appearance tap in Settings to hide them by toggling "Display the time in seconds"... but the setting doesn't do anything... the seconds are still showing in both main panel and menu bar.

The clocker crashes after selecting Menubar Mode to Standard

    Hi,

I was trying every options in the clocker and when I choose Standard in the Menubar Mode on the Menubar display options of Appearance tab, the clocker crashes.

I'm wondering if this is related to the previous issue which I posted recently. Because I have noticed that Compact is selected in Menubar Mode. It shows different with previous version on the menubar(before I upgrade the clocker), the location and the time was showed in one line. I assume that Standard is what I was using.

    Thanks.

    Vertical Scroll Bar covers times

    MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2013) OSX 10.12.5

As stated, the vertical scroll bar in the when Clocker is attached to the menu bar covers part of the times. This issue is not present in floating mode.

Or maybe it isn't a vertical scroll bar?

  • List of timezones becomes unsorted on drag/drop of a timezone

List of timezones becomes unsorted on drag/drop of a timezone

    Steps to create the issue:

    1. Have a list of timezones in alphabetical order
    2. Add a timezone
    3. Drag the new timezone to the correct place in the list

    Expected behaviour:

    • List stays in alphabetical order, with the newly inserted timezone in the correct place

    What actually happens:

    • The timezone that was underneath the new timezone before it was dropped in place moves to the bottom of the list

Here's a quick Loom video to highlight the issue - https://www.useloom.com/share/a2f8406c5bcb4c7cbe0d01cf89e10c91

Shortcut doesn't work when menubar entry is hidden

I use Bartender to manage the gazillion apps I own. It has the ability to hide icons by default.

With Clocker, I find it to be extremely useful but only on demand via a keyboard shortcut. (I don't need to see timezones all the time.) Bizarrely enough, the shortcut doesn't activate unless the icon is visible. I haven't had this issue with other apps such as Fantastical or ColorSnapper.

Preferences/config file export/import for version control

    Hi thanks for the application.

It would be awesome if there was a way to simply export/import timezones from a file. I for one would like to be able to store such a file in version control or cloud drive.

This way, I am able to sync my settings and timezones across devices quickly. Adding a dozen zones is bit of an annoyance, because of the way the dialog needs to be opened while setting it up on devices.

Allow time input to match 12/24 hour setting

Love being able to directly enter a time instead of just using the slider, tho I wish this was more easily accessible(#39), but this issue is not being able to enter 24 hour times. Only 12 hour times are supported. It would be great if the manual time entry field input reflected the 12/24 hour time preference.
