Remember
Remember is a simple but handy to-do list manager. With this application you can easily organize pending tasks in different folders, so you can easily find them. To mark a task as done, you just have to check the box next to the name of the task. A good thing is that you can assign a certain color to the tasks as labels, so you can easily recognize them at first sight. Tasks can be sorted by category or by different fields such as due, completed, label, etc.
The program is available all the time in the menu bar, so you can easily add a task whenever you want. Moreover, from the Preference menu, you can customize the keyboard shortcuts to manage the program more efficiently and fast. If you cannot find a task, you can use the search feature by entering a keyword. The lists can be printed, but you won't be able to save them in other formats. Sadly, you won't be able to customize the font type or size or add alarms or reminders to your tasks.

FDM includes a BitTorrent client and Download Manager. It can be integrated into your browser, then FDM will monitor and catch links from your browser interface directly into FDM downloads list. FDM can download any kind of data you want: torrents, videos, audio tracks, images, ISO files, etc. Downloads of different types (music / videos / documents / pictures) can be automatically distributed to different folders. For example, all videos (including YouTube videos) will be stored in one folder. You can also add tags to downloads and then filter downloads by tags, so, it will be much easier to find a particular download on the downloads list. A special notification will let you know when the download is completed.
